Engineered and durable

All of our engineered buildings follow International Building Codes and are designed to meet your local wind, snow, seismic and unbalanced snow loads. From the foundation up to the trusses, you can rest safely knowing your building can handle the elements.

 

 

Post-production hot-dip galvanized

Frames and welded components receive a hot-dipped galvanized finish after fabrication to ensure a complete zinc coating both inside and out. No welding is done after zinc coating is applied. Some competitors cut corners and do not hot-dip galvanize welded components.

High-quality polyethlene or PVC fabric

Our standard fabric covers are 12 oz.-Nova-Shield polyethlene fabric with ArmorKote. The scrim is produced in a unique weaving pattern to enhance thickness, flatness, abrasion resistance, and tear properties. The proprietary ArmorKote coating is used to resist abrasion, strengthen the seams and resist UV exposure. We offer polyethlene fabric in fire retardant and non-fire retardant options in a variety of colors.

Steel framework

You’ll be surprised by the structural integrity provided by our strong steel bracing system. Primary structural frames are hot-dipped galvanized. We use this process to ensure a complete zinc coating both inside and outside is applied after it’s been fabricated, making it impervious to the elements. Secondary framing is rust and corrosion resistant using GatorShield-patented triple layer Flo-Coat.

The NLFS ownership team brings together 35 years in general and fabric building construction, 70 years in steel fabrication and 34 years in manufacturing engineering. This combination of experience allows NLFS to consider the entire process from permitting to erection to project closeout when engineering and manufacturing its buildings.
